EFB is being modernised, and with effect from 1 June 2018 we will be selling a new and improved version of the plan.
Please see below for key details of the new plan and further information on joining terms, benefits, literature and how your renewals will be affected.
Conditional Switch (CPME and Continued Mori)
We will now be accepting conditional switch – CPME and Continued Moratorium – for groups of 2-14 employees on our EFB plan. This is contingent on individual application forms, where the same joining criteria apply as they do for conditional switch on our Private Client policies. A link to the new application form is below for your reference: EFB Employee Application Form – CPME and Continued Mori
If you have clients who you believe would be a good fit, we will now be quoting rather than declining switch groups in this size band, so please send your quote requests through to smequotes@wpa.org.uk.
Simplified Benefits
The current (up until 31 May) iteration of EFB includes £200 of out-patient consultation allowance within the Essential option, and £200 of therapies allowance within the Out-Patient option. There is also a therapies cash benefit allowance within the Wellness option, meaning a customer could have therapy benefit within three separate modules.
We are simplifying these benefits by removing any overlap.
As of 1 June the Out-patient and Therapy options will have a new increased range of benefit limits, and there will be no overlap of benefit across options.
Out-patient – £250 / £500 / £1,200 / £1,500 / Unlimited
Therapy – £200 / £400 / £600 / £1,200 / £1,800
Literature
As the new EFB scheme has a different structure, there is a new suite of literature that will accompany it. This will be made available in hard copy over the coming weeks, but in the meantime, please find links below to the PDFs of the key literature you will need, which will also be available to you within iZone.
