Thank you for your amazing work and effort in Q1
Despite a backdrop of a slight global uncertainty… as a network we finished the quarter working very positively towards our nearly £10.5 billion lending target. This is again another quarter that is up on the year before, which demonstrates the notable resilience from advisers during these ‘turbulent times’ .
Demand hasn’t gone anywhere. There’s still plenty of underlying demand, especially from first-time buyers and home movers who’ve been waiting for the right moment. Remortgages still need to be serviced, with April and October/November set to be phenomenal months for helping customers remortgage. Make sure you are keeping in touch with them via The Network Newsletter Service to keep in their minds.
Thank you for all of the amazing work and efforts in Q1, we’re here to support so please reach out to let the rest of the year to excel even further.

With the volatility of the interest rates at the moment, your job is proving even more difficult. The good thing with Lifetime Mortgages is that the KFI’s are guaranteed for at least 14 days (depending on the lender could be longer) which means the products you offer will allow the customer to ensure they are happy with no pressure in having to make a quick decision.
We are looking forward to seeing those of you who are attending the Later Life Lending Workshop next month. Here is the link for those of you who are yet to register: http://bit.ly/4bWvv9r

Could genomic testing shape the future of healthcare?
Recently we have been looking at how the private healthcare landscape is shifting into preventative care, and how innovative medical advances like genomic testing play a part in this.
Genomic testing is becoming more common in healthcare, and has the potential to transform prevention, diagnosis and treatment. By analysing DNA, it helps identify genetic risks and how individuals may respond to treatment, supporting more personalised and preventative care.
This could enable earlier intervention for conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease and inherited disorders, through targeted screening, lifestyle changes and more effective treatments. For PMI providers, genomic testing may support preventative health pathways, improve outcomes and reduce claims severity through earlier detection.
Genomic testing is already commonly used both in the NHS and privately, particularly when identifying the BRCA1 gene for breast cancer, and being able to test for this gene quickly plays a pivotal role in a person’s cancer journey, sometimes preventing them from ever having to go on that journey at all.
It is inspiring to see growing investment in disease prevention across the market, making this a truly exciting time to be a PMI adviser.

Supporting Landlords in a Changing Landscape
As we move further into 2026, landlords continue to navigate an increasingly complex environment shaped by regulatory changes, rising costs, and shifting tenant expectations. This makes landlords insurance more important than ever in helping protect both property and income.
Recent and upcoming reforms — including changes around tenant rights, property standards, and rental practices — are placing greater responsibility on landlords. At the same time, many are facing tighter margins due to higher interest rates, maintenance costs, and compliance requirements.
In this environment, the right insurance cover can provide valuable support.
Landlords insurance goes beyond standard buildings cover and can help with:
- Loss of rental income if a property becomes uninhabitable following a claim
- Property owners’ liability, protecting against tenant or third-party injury claims
- Accidental and malicious damage caused by tenants
- Legal expenses cover, which can be particularly valuable given evolving tenancy rules
With regulatory scrutiny increasing, landlords may also face more disputes or legal challenges. Having appropriate cover in place can help manage these risks and reduce financial uncertainty. Are you speaking to your customers about our landlords offering?
