To inform you of the improvements we will be making to our Intermediary Product range (Life/FPIP/IPB/RLP) plans sold through the intermediary channel only, effective from 12th May 2019.

Summary/Key points

L&G look to continue to improve our product offerings available to you and remain focused on delivering changes that bring value to the Intermediary Designed proposition and the Intermediary product range.

The changes are:

Introduction of Nurse Support Services, (NSS),1 exclusively on our Life Insurance (including Business Life), Family & Personal Income Plan, Income Protection Plan & Relevant Life Plan.  Like most of our competitors value added services are available across product ranges and aren’t exclusive to one product. Nurse Support Services was introduced to our CI product in Nov 2017 as a free benefit to support customers.

Nurse Support Services is provided by RedArc and offers a range of services designed to help & provide support to our customers for a variety of health & wellbeing issues. NSS is managed by a team of qualified personal nurse advisers who are there to provide long term emotional & practical support, when it is needed the most.

NSS provides help and support for the following:

  • MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
  • BEREAVEMENT
  • TRAUMA
  • SERIOUS ILLNESS
  • POST HOSPITAL CARE
  • SHORT/LONG TERM ELDER CARE
  • SECOND MEDICAL OPINION
  • AND MORE…..

What will be updated?

  • New versions of the Customer guides will be introduced & available on My Account Q0057466
  • New Pre Sale adviser guide will be produced and available on the adviser centre
  • Product profiles will be updated W12549
  • New Adviser Centre pages will be created
