We are pleased to announce the next live event in our Workplace Health Insights Live series will take place on Thursday 12 May at 11:00.
The competition for talent has never been fiercer and many employers are looking for opportunities to refresh their plans to attract and retain employees. As workplace health and wellbeing becomes a more significant part of any talent strategy it is critical that we empower and equip line managers to build healthier workplaces where everyone can thrive.
Research¹ from Glint shows an employee’s relationship with their manager has a greater impact on engagement than anything else, demonstrating the vital role managers can play to support the health and wellbeing of their teams. However, only 26% of managers feel they have the skills needed to be as effective as possible at fostering individual and team engagement¹.
The discussion
During this event Steven Buck, Principal Consultant at Glint and Nigel Sullivan, Chief Sustainability and People Officer at Bupa will discuss the changing remit of line managers and their critical role in workplace wellbeing.
To address how line managers can practically support the health and wellbeing of their teams Dr Samantha Wild, Women’s Health Clinical Lead, will share a clinical case study on supporting those experiencing the menopause at work. Lloyds Banking Group will join to share how they support line managers to open up the conversation on workplace health and wellbeing and specifically their approach to the menopause.
