Support for you and your clients

Welcome to the July edition of Amplify Extra.

Even with a reduction in social distancing measures and the good news that more businesses are opening up to help get the economy going, lockdown has had a considerable impact. Coping with the negatives and celebrating the positives is certainly high on the agenda. And one key positive is how we’re all, on a personal level, embracing technology to help us in our day to day lives. In this edition we’ll be sharing some of our digital news as well as the BAU.

We usually take a break in August, but if we do have any urgent news to share we’ll issue a bulletin to keep in touch. Stay safe.

The evolution of the online GP

The coronavirus has accelerated how digital services can support our daily lives, and healthcare is no exception.

Our new report, Digital Health: the changing landscape of how we access GP services, explores the scope for GP services to further embrace digitally delivered care. It combines our own research with findings from the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), to look at how offering online consultations not only benefits the healthcare sector, but also businesses and patients. Support with flu vaccinations

It’s important for business to ensure the wellbeing of its employees, minimise sickness absence and support productivity. Alongside good hygiene practices, vaccination is a simple and an effective way of helping to safeguard employees against the flu each winter.

Our Flu Vaccination Programme can be delivered in two ways: either providing a nurse onsite (adhering to current coronavirus risk assessment protocols), or in the form of a voucher that employees can redeem at their local pharmacy. Download our leaflet to find out how you can support your clients’ employees this winter.

Individual and SME business updates

Removal of Assisted Renewals for consumer plans

From 1 September 2020 we’re removing the Assisted Renewal service for our consumer (individual) plans. We’ve written to those intermediaries directly affected informing of the change and to give them sufficient time to notify their customers and make alternative arrangements.

Please note that the Assisted Renewals service is still in operation for SME renewals.

Webinar – Future planning: effective strategies to create employee resilience and business sustainability

What is employee resilience like in a world of coronavirus, isolation and social distancing? What’s here to stay, and how have (and will) societal and employers’ views on mental wellbeing and resilience shift in 2020? That’s just two of the topics discussed in this webinar produced by Reward and Employee benefits Association (REBA) with us.
